Cleveland TN, Veterinary Jobs
Welcome!
Veterinarians
Our veterinarians are selected to be compassionate, patient, thorough, and top-notch. They believe in animal welfare, communication, and teamwork! A valid TN license is required and certification in low-stress handling or Fear Free is highly preferred.
Veterinary Technicians
Our licensed Veterinary Technicians (Nurses) are the right hand to the doctors. They are encouraged to use all the skills within their training and license qualifications. Vet Nurses must also believe in compassion, communication, and teamwork! A valid TN license is required and certification in low stress handling or Fear Free is highly preferred.
Veterinary Assistants
Our Vet Assistants can be thought of similarly to a CNA. They are trained on the job, and are often extremely hands on with pets and people. They possess top level compassion, a deep desire to learn and grow, and top of the line teamwork and communication skills. Certification in low stress handling or Fear Free is highly preferred.
Patient Care Representatives
Our PCRs are quite literally our patient advocates. They can be found keeping the patients comfortable, lowering their stress levels with snuggles, and keeping the environments safe and clean for everyone (animals and people) at Creekside. PCRs must be willing to learn a lot on the job, and be ready to learn Low Stress Handling techniques for animals starting on Day 1.
Client Care Representatives
Our CCRs are quite literally the face of our hospital. They welcome, support, comfort, and communicate with clients. They have the added benefit of getting to pet animals all day! CCRs should be highly capable in customer service skills and communication, fluent with technology, and should feel comfortable learning new skills and communication techniques daily. They also must love animals! π
Management
Our Management team is made of individuals who love organization, communication, and the business side of things. They must be excellent with time management, conflict resolution, and a diverse, highly demanding career. Experienced managers preferred. CVPM certification is desirable. They, too, get the perk of being surrounded by animals all day!
Volunteers
Occasionally we accept long term volunteers at our hospital. Most often, these are individuals looking to experience veterinary medicine to see if they want to pursue a career in the industry. Special waivers must be signed and special rules must be followed. Volunteers work under our sister-company, the Non-Profit called Creekside Cares Alliance. Volunteers may participate in an array of activities from animal husbandry, observation, groundskeeping, recycling, and working hands on with our Shelter Animals. They will receive the benefit of being inside a fully functional Veterinary Hospital while doing so. So much can be learned and understood by listening and watching!
